Malta Championship 3×3 Tour: E-$QUAD emerge winners in the first stop
E-$quad won the Men Open category during the 1st Stop of the Malta 3X3 Championship that took place at Ta`Qali Basketball Complex This first ever 3X3 National Tour in Malta brought a number of players and basketball lovers to Ta`Qali.
Under the shining sun, eight teams played on the brand new 3X3 official surface and 3×3 boards purchased by the Malta Basketball Association.
The Men Open category turned out to be a very entertaining affair with well-known players and some surprising results. E-$quad (composed of Dominic Scafidi, Kurt Xuereb and Andrew Aquilina ) and Blue Chips (composed of Chad Patus, Omar Said and Keith Dimech) made it to the final where E-$quad emerged winners. Both finalists have booked their places in the National Tour Final that will take place in September and which will feature the twelve best teams.
In this regard, ten more spots are up for grabs in the next four stops of the Tour.
