Gzira Athleta and Starlites Naxxar to contest the BOV Division 2 League Final Series

Gzira Athleta and Starlites Naxxar will contest the BOV Division 2 League Championship, based on a best of five final series, after winning their respective semifinal series.

Starlites Naxxar beat Frank Salt Real Estate Phoenix 73-66 in the second game of the series this afternoon to register a 2-0 series win whilst the series between Gzira Athleta and Mellieha Mr Green had to go to the decisive third game, also played this afternoon, with Athleta grabbing a last gasp 3-pointer win 69-67 and move to the final.

The first game of the final series will be played on Sunday 10th April.
